(b. 1998) I am a Naarm based visual artist with whakapapa to Ngāti Kura, Te Whare tapu o Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Toa, and Ingarangi. I began painting from literature and anthropology– two disciplines which presented a key to the doors of my whakapapa. This encouraged me to tell my own story and create a unique cultural vocabulary through world-building and storytelling.
