Murrangurrang (Always)

Familes are woven
Connections are long
Past present future
Keep bonds strong

I see me in you
Culture, history, identity
Elders, ancestors
Born of same entity

We share the load
Loss, pain, perseverance
Shoulder to shoulder
In love, respect resilience

Lived through it all
In their love we trust
Children of old ways
Their lives inspire us

Infinite heart to hear
Through them we see
Wise words to guide
They’re example a legacy

Reminisce, cry, laugh, love
Cloaked in their spirit
Trust, have faith
They’re everywhere
always with us
